About this Project

The Global Services Sector (GSS) Project is a 5-year project funded by the Inter-American Development Bank that seeks to provide Jamaicans with access to training and better jobs in the global services sector, namely in knowledge process outsourcing, information technology outsourcing and business process outsourcing.

The GSSC, established in 2019, has a mandate to identify and articulate the sector’s skills needs, engage employers in skills development and influence skill policy. It is an industry-led, cross-sectoral body that provides advice and supports the implementation of vocational education and training policies for the Global Services Sector
